At Yakitori Restaurant

My parents have been sick since Friday that I have been taking care of the house work mainly by myself that I have not had a chance to update my site until now. It is already 2am here, but I wanted to log something here before going to bed.

An email from my good friend notifying me of her recent changes in her life, getting a slot in a radio station program as well as work opportunity at her university has been inspiring me that I have been telling myself to be forward/aggresive with things that I am interested in as well as on the needs that I need to take care of.

On Friday, when I went to the local gym, I re-realized that I need some short term goals to keep me focused on personal progression and to fulfill myself much further. I have been doing yoga the first thing in the morning since I came here, so my mission on spontaneous activity on yoga has been fulfilled so far. Another activity that I want to be spontaneous is to explore my interest in dancing. I have recently purchased this DVD that features house/b-bap/tap dance steps, especially because I was attracted to the dance style that I saw at the end of the movie, Za-to-ichi. So I want to master some of the steps on the DVD. Speaking of dancing, I hope to go dancing sometime soon, but now that I live far from the club scene, I do not know how soon my wish will come true, but I can dance anywhere as long as I have my music with me :)

Last Tuesday, my parents took me to this yakitori (skewed grilled chicken) bar/restaurant. I liked how cozy the place looked, as well as the taste of yakitori, so I took some photos to share my experience with you guys.

The Yakitori master preparing the skews for us:

Dear friends, any of you who managed to come and visit my parents will be guranteed to taste these juicy and tasty yakitori, so pack your stuff and book a flight ticket to come and visit me here in Japan :)

Oh and any of you who were curious how well I am doing, here is a photo that was taken when I was having a break from working at my parents's restaurant: PEACE and MISS YOU ALL :( :) HUGZ
